CHICOUTIMI – Kevin Klima and Zachary Lavigne each scored twice to lead the Chicoutimi Sagueneens to a 6-0 victory over the Saint John Sea Dogs, Friday at Centre Georges-Vezina.
Liam Stevens and Vincent Milot-Ouellet also scored for Chicoutimi (6-8-2-0), which have won two games in a row.
Saint John (4-11-3-1) have lost two straight.

The Sagueneens scored the only goal of the first period nearly thirteen minutes into it.
Jeremy Groleau slapped a shot from the left point that was stopped by goalie Stewart Bagnell, who was making his QMJHL debut in the Sea Dogs’ goal. Stevens chipped the rebound past the rookie netminder.
The game stayed at 1-0 until late in the second period when Chicoutimi struck three times.
First, with seven minutes to go in the period, Klima corralled the puck behind the Saint John net and buried a wraparound inside the left post.
Two minutes later, Lavigne took a pass on the left wing and whipped a wrist shot from the circle that got past Bagnell’s glove.
Finally, with three minutes left in the period, Alexis Potvin carried the puck down the right wing on a 2-on-1 and ripped a wrister off the left post. Milot-Ouellet deposited the rebound past a helpless Bagnell to make it a 4-0 game.
Chicoutimi’s three goals in the second period came in a 3:55 span.
Klima struck again with seven minutes left in the third period after finding a loose puck in the crease and poking it into an open goal.
Lavigne made it 6-0 in the final minute with a wrister from the right wing that got past Bagnell’s blocker.
Sagueneens’ goalie Alexis Shank earned the shutout win and third star with 28 saves. Bagnell turned aside 30 shots in a losing cause.
Klima and Lavigne were named first and second star, respectively, following their two-goal performances in front of 2,347 fans in attendance.
