SEA DOGS RECALL G STEWART BAGNELL

BAIE-COMEAU – The Saint John Sea Dogs have recalled goaltender Stewart Bagnell from the (Dartmouth) Steele Subaru Major Midgets of the Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League (NSMMHL).

The 16-year-old from Halifax is in his second season with Steele Subaru. In ten games, he is 8-2 with a 2.20 goals-against average and a .899 save percentage.

Listed at 6’1″ and 166 lbs., Bagnell was selected by the Sea Dogs in the eighth round (145th overall) of the 2017 QMJHL Entry Draft. He played two preseason games for Saint John this year.

Bagnell is scheduled to join the team in Baie-Comeau today, and will be eligible to play tonight when the Sea Dogs take on the Drakkar at 8:30 p.m. (Atlantic) at Centre Henry-Leonard.
