SEA DOGS SIGN F ROBBIE BURT

SAINT JOHN – The Saint John Sea Dogs have signed 18-year-old forward Robbie Burt and added him to the active roster.

Listed at 6’1″ and 230 lbs., the native of Hillsburgh, Ontario, posted seven goals and 11 points in 46 games with the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) last season. He added two goals and three points in 11 playoff games.

In 102 regular season games over two seasons with the Generals and Kingston Frontenacs, Burt totaled 11 goals and 21 points. He was originally taken eleventh overall by Kingston in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection.

Burt is expected to be available to play tonight when the Sea Dogs face the Moncton Wildcats at Moncton Coliseum. Listen LIVE on 96.1 NewSong FM or newsongfm.ca. Watch LIVE on Neulion.

The Sea Dogs’ next home game is Wednesday, October 4th, at 7 p.m. against the Acadie-Bathurst Titan at Harbour Station. Tickets are available at the Harbour Station Box Office and online.
