The Saint John Sea Dogs are looking for a dynamic individual to provide superior customer service in our brand-new retail store at the waterfront Area 506 Container Village. The ideal candidate will be outgoing and energic with the ability engage with everyone – locals, cruise ship passengers, concert goers and more!
We are looking for someone who:
- Likes talking to people and genuinely likes to help people, with great communication skills
- Is a positive team player
- Has a knowledge and love of both hockey and our region
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and able to handle multiple tasks
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Learn about our brand and relay that information to customers
- Utilize the Point-of-Sale system for sales transactions
- Opening and closing of the store
- Cross-sell products
- Assist with merchandising & store cleanliness
- Manage returns of merchandise
- Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
Requirements and Skills:
- Ability to provide superior customer service
- Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate, or similar role
- Understanding of the retail sales process
- Ability to work days, evenings and weekends
- Comfortable working alone and as part of a team
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
