Retail Sales Representative

Job brief

The Saint John Sea Dogs are looking for a dynamic individual to provide superior customer service in our brand-new retail store at the waterfront Area 506 Container Village. The ideal candidate will be outgoing and energic with the ability engage with everyone – locals, cruise ship passengers, concert goers and more!

We are looking for someone who:

• Likes talking to people and genuinely likes to help people, with great communication skills
• Is a positive team player
• Has a knowledge and love of both hockey and our region
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and able to handle multiple tasks

Key Job Accountabilities:

• Learn about our brand and relay that information to customers
• Utilize the Point-of-Sale system for sales transactions
• Opening and closing of the store
• Cross-sell products
• Assist with merchandising & store cleanliness
• Manage returns of merchandise
• Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager

Requirements and Skills:

• Ability to provide superior customer service
• Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate, or similar role
• Understanding of the retail sales process
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends
• Comfortable working alone and as part of a team
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
