Memorial Cup Speakers Series presented by Deloitte – Brock McGillis
Time: 11 a.m.
Location: Market Square Atrium
Join Brock McGillis in a discussion on diversity, equity and inclusion in sports. McGillis is an advocate for inclusion in hockey, locally noted for his involvement with the Sea Dogs and is the first male professional hockey player to openly come out as gay. McGillis will speak to his work creating awareness and support for the LGBTQ+ community in sport.
Memorial Cup Speakers Series presented by Deloitte – Sarah Bujold, Sarah MacDonell and Ebba Berglund
Time: 2 p.m.
Location: Market Square Atrium
Women’s hockey stars will speak to their experience as pioneers in the sport and the amazing growth of female hockey across North America and the world.
Port Saint John Partners presents Bash on the Bay in association with Envision Saint John – Joel Plaskett Emergency / Tomato Tomato presented by DP World
Time: Gates open 3:30 p.m. for Memorial Cup passholders/4 p.m. for general public
Location: AREA 506 Waterfront Container Village
The Bash on the Bay concert series continues with performances by Joel Plaskett Emergency and Tomato Tomato! Admission is free, but Memorial Cup pass holders will benefit from priority admission. Remaining attendance will be based on capacity.
2022 Memorial Cup presented by Kia – Saint John vs Edmonton
Time: 7 p.m.
Location: TD Station
Coming off a strong 5-3 win in their tournament opener, the Sea Dogs look to continue their positive momentum against the Western Hockey League champion Edmonton Oil Kings. Tickets are still available.
